Muriel Caroline Axe passed away peacefully in Salmon Arm where she had resided for 12 years. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she was a former resident of Seattle and Mt. Vernon, Washington.She enjoyed travelling, especially cruising, as well as her walks around McGuire Lake, the wharf area and nature parks. She tremendously enjoyed bird watching. Muriel will be remembered for her bright smile and totally positive outlook on lifePredeceased by her husband, Erwin; sister, Gwen; and brother, Wilfred, Muriel is survived by her loving family, sister, Margaret Potter of Salmon Arm; niece, Carol (David) Edgell of Salmon Arm; nephew, Frank (Andrian) Potter of Calgary; great nieces, Val and Karen and their families.A memorial tea will be held from the Mountainside Room at Bowers Funeral Home on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are in the care of Bowers Funeral Home and Crematorium, Salmon Arm.
