J. Kenneth Clark (Casey) June 29, 1926 - August 27, 2010. Born in Espanola Ontario, received his education in Sudbury Ont. Ken is survived by his best friend and adored wife Margaret Nobuko, his son Wayne in Toronto, his daughter Jan (Cary Johannesson) Saanich BC and son Kenneth James, (Hitomi, Julia). His beloved grandsons Sean and Noah. Brother Robert Peter Calgary. Ken was predeceased by brother John Samuel (Bertha) and sister Thelma Fox (Thomas) Father Samuel and Mother Nettie Sarah-Jane (nee Armstrong).
Ken is a graduate from the University of Alberta and was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and served on the executive as a student counselor. Ken was Head of the Telecommunication Engineering Technology Program at SAIT for several years and retired in 1987. Following his graduation from U of A he was President of his Alumni Association (Epsilon Pi Tau), Member of La Chaine Des Rotisseurs and South West Lions Club while living in Calgary.
In 1994 Ken and Margaret moved to Enderby BC where they joined the Shuswap RV Club and Ken served as their president for two years. Ken was an avid golfer and was a member of the Royal York golf course in Armstrong. He was also a member of the Date Palm golf and country club in Cathedral City California. Ken and Margaret travelled to Hawaii for several years and made many good friends with the Hawaiian locals. Ken found his Hawaiian friends to be some of the nicest people he had the opportunity of knowing. Ken also leaves his cousins, nieces and nephews in Eastern Canada who he had a special relationship with and affection for his eldest brothers and sisters children. Ken had many friends, some life long. There are too many special friends to mention but they know who they are.
Ken was cremated and no service by request. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Tiessen and the nursing staff on the fourth floor of the Shuswap Lake Hospital for the great care given to Ken in his last days.
